Cynthia Erivo is a Vegan, Nigerian-British Actress. She was born to Nigerian parents in Stockwell, London, England, as Cynthia Onyedinmanasu Chinasaokwu Erivo. She is also a singer, songwriter, and a recipient of several accolades, including a Daytime Emmy Award, a Grammy Award, and a Tony Award, in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Cynthia Erivo has been a vegan for nine years. In an interview with Healthyish, she said “I don’t have dairy because I’m a singer and, quite frankly, I don’t want to mess around with my vocal cords and how those behave, and dairy is an allergen for me”.  “I was cutting so many things out of my diet for health reasons, and it ended up that being vegan was the most correct way for me to treat my body.”
